Australian Jobs incorporates information for people exploring careers as well as those looking for work. The publication includes information about employment trends and prospects for industries and occupations.

Job Guide provides an in-depth look at a range of occupations, and their education and training pathways.

My Skills is a website that enables students and employers to find out about their training options. It connects students and employers with almost 5000 training providers, information about the courses they deliver and campus details and services offered.


Labour Market Information

The Labour Market Information Portal presents labour market information for industries and regions, including selected Department of Employment administrative data.
Regional employer reports are employer surveys available for selected regions. Regional employment and unemployment data are available in Small Area Labour Markets and Australian Regional Labour Markets.

Skill Shortages

Information about skill shortages, including reports for individual occupations and skill shortage lists for each State and Territory, is available on the Department of Employment website.


Australian JobSearch includes a large number of vacancies, including vacancies downloaded from other job boards, and these vacancies can be searched by location or occupation.

Vacancy Report this monthly publication provides detailed data on online vacancies, including for around 350 occupations (at all skill levels), as well as for all states/territories and 38 regions.
